Sparking social change, inside and out

At Spitfire, Jay's portfolio spanned racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, economic inequality, criminal legal reform, and public interest technology. That work spurred their ongoing dedication to steering the firm's internal trajectory toward racial and gender equity, in close collaboration with C-suite and several internal committees which she co-led.

It is through this work that they were able to offer consistent and incisive strategic counsel from the mind and heart.

Across clients, Jay developed strategies for varied communications and campaign efforts, including landscape research, messaging guides, digital toolkits, brand briefs, and content strategies. She was able to shine most in client roles that involved group facilitation and trainings where she acted as a coach and mentor before, during, and after capacity-building workshops for nonprofit staff and leadership.
